Attorney Bio
Bryan P. Lord
Bryan is senior counsel and the founder and managing member of Flightline Law PLLC.
Over the course of his career, he has served as a corporate attorney at Boston's leading technology law firm, general counsel of a MIT-originated semiconductor start-up, IP licensing executive, and a ten-year tenure as founder and CEO of a leading medical technology company. He also founded an angel investment fund and a multi-industry trade group dedicated to advancing the innovation economy.
As a committed advocate for U.S. innovation and technology policy, Bryan has testified before the United States Congress and the U.S. International Trade Commission and has co-authored multiple amicus briefs submitted to the United States Supreme Court on matters involving intellectual property and technology policy.
Bryan holds a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as Propter Honoris Respectum editor of the Notre Dame Law Review, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a Certificate in Disruptive Innovation Strategy from Harvard Business School, an online certificate course taught by Professor Clayton Christensen. He earned undergraduate degrees in business administration and political science from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Bryan is admitted to practice law in the State of New Hampshire, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and before the United States Supreme Court. He represents clients nationwide, working with local counsel as appropriate when jurisdictional requirements apply.
